I am often sent PMs or emails by members saying thank you for the support that they have received via Wikivorce and many of them ask if there is anything they can do to help.
Well - there is one thing that you could do that would take just 10 mins of your time and would be a HUGE help to Wikivorce.
In short - if you feel that Wikivorce has been of benefit to you, then you can now return the favour by recommending Wikivorce to be listed on a local organisation's website.
This is a massive help as it helps spread the word about Wikivorce without us having to spend money on marketing/advertising. In turn this enables us to ensure that Wikivorce always stays FREE to anyone who needs advice and support.
How to help in 2 easy steps:
1) Send an email recommending Wikivorce (using the helpful instructions and template on this page
2) Reply to this post with the name of the organisation that you recommended Wikivorce to, so we can keep track of how we are doing.
I would like to say a BIG THANKYOU in advance to anyone who can help out in this way.
I will have a think about the organisation I can recommend your website to. It's a super site with a great knowledgebase. Thanks to you I educated myself about various aspects of divorce. It has equiped me with the knowledge and terminology I used with my solicitor for the past 20 months. Thanks to you I raised the capitalisation of maintenance aspect with my solicitor, he dismissed it to start with saying that is for big money cases. But when went through FH, my barrister has explained to the judge why I wanted Clean Break and therefore capitalisation of maintenance. I was astonished that the judge has said in his summary that he will not disregard it. regards
I have found the site both informative and supportive and do not know how to show my admiration and appreciation....... until now.
Has anyone contacted the CAB with regards a referral or support link?
I have recently had great support and success with my local MP. Should I contact him and see what he says as a link from his website would mean that it is possible for other Wiki's to contact their local MP's for a similar site referral?
We are already listed on Divorce Recovery Workshop and Direct.gov along with the CAB. However, we are not registered on Just Divorce or Divorce.co.uk
There is huge amounts of red tape with local councils and local authorities but I feel that Adult Community Services ought to address this area and they currently do not.
So whatdya think? Should I go for it on any of the above?
