It's a womans world when it comes to divorce. You just have to with that knowledge then work out the angles around it.
THAT'S LIFE MATE IT'S HARD AND IT'S TOUGH AND IT AIN'T FAIR AND YOU HAVE TO MANIPULATE IT TO YOUR ENDS AS BEST AS YOU CAN!!!
Sometimes you win and sometimes you fecking lose and lose large!!!!and any bloke who ever gets married is gonna voluntarily sign up for a hiding. So now you know that take the lesson embrace it and move on knowing you won't ever get mugged again that's why you pay in life togain experience.
And if you never knew the whole legal profession was the biggest bunch of crooks ever you were really niave.
Everyone has ***** visited upon em!You just have to suck it up and plogh on thru it.
All the best

I am not so much into the gender arguments, in fact I have discovered many women who have been treated appallingly, the common denominator being a woefully inadequate legal framework and a greedy self centred legal class. For me there is no way forward too old, too tired, too cynical and too disillusioned with it all. I am seriously waiting for the day that the streets rise up and the stocks and the guillotines are used to clean out the rotten political and legal class & until then I am screwing the state for every penny that I can extort and at this point I have taken out more than I have paid in, and that was after 20 years of of tax paying. NEVER will I pay another penny in tax. Simple they screwed my family and I will cost the state as much as is humanly possible between now and the day I die.

Ouch pete ;)

Arnie, respect what your saying as many think we have contributed to our own demise Small consolation that a few in the legal profession attempt to follow the rules but hey..until they kill us we have a voice of sorts.

AS,

The family law system is corrupt and evil and is most inappropriately named.

When you have children in this country they are not your own. Fathers count for nothing yet politicans of all sides constantly bleat on about the family unit.

This is the country where packs of children run wild in our inner cities because they can - teacher's can't even shout at unruly kids without fear of reprise. Kubrick brought to life.

Who earnt what... what is best for the children - totally lottery whether a judge will take account of it or not.

A system which openly supports the removal of children from their fathers - where a father had to go to court nearly 100 times to see his children, one of whom is broken by her ultimate wish of just holding her father.

Law is governed by the ability of one person to persuade another person round to their arguement. It is nothing to do with right/wrong/children/money/love/long-term/short-term/prescident. It's intellectual amusement for those that participate. Yes, some will be decent, moral hard working individuals (probably the majority) but let a rotten apple into the barrel... What you get is down largely to luck...

Regulation - you're right - three judges rather than one. Cases reviewed back - lessons learnt etc. Won't happen - not in my lifetime.

What can I say - rage, fury, anger?

I'm massively surprised that I haven't heard of someone going insane in a family court and assaulting the judge - but then again it's probably happened and the news blocked by the state.

I'd like to say that I'll take up the fight - but having been driven to consider desperate options to stop the pain - I'm ashamed to say I don't know if I can.

One thing to understand - your children will not be children forever and they will learn about what happened to them. You must remember this.

Very good post Music Mad and I agree with alot of what you say, but one thing that is not correct is that "some will be decent, moral hard working individuals (probably the majority)". Nuremberg established in international law that following orders is no defence and by extension the moral majority does not negate the dishonest minority. Many people have read about Mr Blah Blah , many solicitors have been on my website, I have their IP'S as proof, yet I bet you not ONE has done anything about it, in fact not ONE legal person will help me try and do anything about it, so in my book they are all rotten, because they are all compliant to the status quo and ease their guilty conscience with examples of the good people they are, yet time and time again families are destroyed by this mercenary bunch.
I am an ethical and moral solicitor is no defence when there is a significant minority that are corrupt, prey tell, why did the government include in the proceeds of crime act such heavy responsibilities upon solicitors if the overwhelming majority were honest, answer because they are not!

The closing of ranks prevalent when a person screws up in their employ is magnified in the legal profession. The screaming supporters are priveleged to have not been subjected to the damage some useless/incompetent/corrupt legal practioners are culpable for. Quite why they cannot believe reported facts against solicitors indicates a closed mindset.

The manner in which decisions are pronounced by judges/sheriffs even when there is no acrimony speaks volumes regards the protection proferred to the sol...a point deliberately ignored by the screaming supporters of sols.
