We had a 1st hearing last wk with a legal advisor who basically said that any past history is not relevant and that we should move forward. I self-repped but had some advise on my position statement within which i''d explained that ex never reply''s to my text''s/emails/request for mediation to talk about contact. He has left the children alone & gone to pub when they were asleep and signs school trip forms for my nights & doesn''t tell me. I''ve gone to school b4 & my Son was not there!
We have to both submit a statement by 4th April & return on 11th for magistrates to decide if I can move their schools 8 miles and change frequency of contact which is every other night and v.disruptive for the children.
I am very worried that my ex, whilst not abusive/loves the children, but leaves them alone, does nothing with them, does not demonstrate communication with me could "win" and no history of his uncooperativeness be considered. I work 20 miles away p/t. and locally at night just to provide all we need as my ex does not give me maint & hides it away as is s/e or more recently doesn''t work at all rather than give me anything.
I have always held faith that all will be okay and never bowed to his ways but I am fighting the anger at the court clearly not reading about his behaviour in my Position Statement and wondering what now to put in my next statement.
I''m grateful for some words of support, i''m in this on my own, am moving this week, and am worn out with worry. thank you.x
