I''m due to meet with Cafcass tomorrow under less than ideal circumstances.
I phoned them up yesterday because they wrote to me 5 weeks ago to say an officer had been assigned and they''d be in touch shortly.
The Cafcass officer phoned back today and asked me to come and see her tomorrow because she''s trying to get her report in for the hearing on Monday. Apparently she interviewed the other party weeks ago.
Anyway, I''ll be going in to put my side across, and hope for the best. I haven''t had much time to prepare, but I guess maybe that''s a good thing because it means I haven''t had days of anxiety in advance.
The thing that annoys me is that it has been booked in my contact time, so instead of spending time with my son I''ll be talking to Cafcass.
Any last minute advice, or tips to avoid getting shunted aside to meet the Cafcass officer''s schedule? This all feels rather rushed and I''m just a bit concerned that issues may not get dealt with properly?
