Some of you will know my very difficult and long, long journey (nearly 3 and a half years) through the court with over 12 court hearings in relation to contact. Today a further Directions was listed. The children have had intervention during this time with over five different social workers (aged 9 and 8 now). We have had S7, S37, CAMHS, and Cafcass Feelings and Wishes x2 and it finally appears that the Judge has at last listened to the children. There is to be no overnight or overnight holiday contact. She finished with stating that it was the end of litigation and time to get on with happy and contented contact for the sake of the two children.

This has been a difficult case and I could not have managed without the huge support of wikivorce (too many people to mention) but particular thanks must go to Dukey and to Jonathan who have kept me going as a LIP at those very, very dark moments. I cannot thank you enough.

For those starting out or in the middle of the journey, please never give up. I believed in the wishes of the children and although at times thought we would never end this litigation; it appears that in fact it has now finally happened.

Thankyou Jonathan, Dukey and all those wikipeeps. This truly is an incredible site.

Congratulations on a job very well done, it''s very hard to face a barrister in court when you are representing yourself, and no small thanks is owed to Jonathan, a solicitor (advocate) who helps members free of charge.

The real winners in this are the children, hopefully from now on court can be avoided and the children can have a very good relashonship with dad but in a way they find comfortable, I wish you all well.

Dear Autumn: am reasonably new wiki, but just had to pop in to say congrats too... even I can see how 3 and a half years is a long time to, well, ''go through.'' And yes, like you did years ago, and just discovering how great this site is.... just wanted to add my congrats, that''s all. Well deserved, by sounds of it. That''s all. Night.
