New partner's details disclosure required? was created by rustyspoons
It looks like I'm about to start court proceedings against my soon-to-be-ex-wife for a child arrangement order. She has a history of domestic violence against me (she's been arrested previously but I chose not to press charges), and her behaviour can be very unpredictable.

I have a new partner who my STBXW is suspicious of the existence of, but doesn't have any firm details.

My new partner is concerned that if her name and address have to be disclosed in court, my STBXW may threaten her directly.

If I undertake proceedings, will my new partner's details have to be disclosed as part of the process?

Welcome to Wikivorce.

Your new partner's details don't have to be disclosed - unless ordered by the Judge during the proceedings, which is unlikely unless there is a safeguarding issue surround your new partner- ie s/he is believed to be on the Sex Offenders Register or has criminal convictions for serious assault or crimes involving children (for example).

Thank you.

My new partner is in a career which requires a full DBS check for working with kids, so I doubt that will a problem! You have helped to put her mind at ease, as my STBX is unpredictable to say the least.
