My brother-in-law is currently going through a child court hearing. His ex-partner has really messed him about, lying at every opportunity. My friend has spent a lot of time, energy and money disproving her lies. Ultimately though it has gone quite well and looks like they will decide in my brother-in-law's favour. The final hearing is coming up shortly and witness statements have been submitted. Including a letter supposedly written by the child's primary teacher. I believe this letter was written by the ex. They are pursuing the validly of this letter thorough their solicitor but can you please advise what offence has been committed if this is the case.
