What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi Pippy

You could go to the CSA and then they take control of CM. Though be very wary if ex is self employed. Have you tried having a chat with ex re increasing CM? Mine is by Consent Order too but RPI linked so there is an annual increase.

He won''t have a choice of agreeing to go with CSA. He will have to pay. Also his bonuses are all deemed as salary so should be included in 15%.
Sure a wise wiki will be along soon to guide you in the process.

Im in a similar sitauation as you.
I too believe that my ex maybe earning more then he lets on but when i rang they said they would make him pay 100 pounds less then he does now.
He too wont produce a wage slip so for me its a hit and miss affair but like poppy said someone should be able to advise you properly.xx

Im not sure...the best thing to do would be to ring the csa and ask them direct.
They were very helpful...they do online chat where you can print the conversation off now thats helpful xx
