Hi,
At what point does child support legally end? IE) if 18 yrs of age and still in full time education, am I still obligated to pay?

I am not sure whether the cut-off is eighteen or nineteen, and it may well be different in Scotland.

However, you need to bear in mind that if your child goes to university they will still need financial support. You can pay it directly to them if it makes you feel better, and you don't legally have to do it, but they do need it and most parents do pay something towards university costs if they can. In Scotland I believe there is an obligation to provide such support.

Maintenance continues up to 19 if the 'child' is still in fulltime education.
