Hi All

I am looking into a divorce in which the blood father has left the scene years ago. I haven't adopted.

I am wondering what are my obligations and where I could find other information on this subject?

Thanks V Much

Under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 your obligation is to provide for 'children of the family.' This includes unadopted children from a spouse's previous relationship if you raised and supported them for a number of years as your own.
