after months of sporadic, non existing, and below CSA guideline payments, i finally went to the CSA re my ex, i received an order in December and had 2 payments from the CSA, noticed no payment in the account in March so contacted CSA to be advise that they were informed by my ex that he was again, out of work!

We were in court in January for the finalisation of the divorce and his solicitor stated that he had work till atleast the end of March. The divorce ordered a payment to him of around 28k, he already had accrued around 6/8k in his current bank account, and had previously received a redundancy payment of about 12k, so he will now have about 50k in an account.

I spoke to csa and they advised that he was laid off, but not claiming benefit so they could not get any money off him.. he was Not laid off, he left the employment to take up some training courses so he can get work abroad (Outside the EU),
He has a property with mortgage of around 200 pound a month.

Can nothing be done to make this man pay for his children, why would he want to sign on with 50k in the bank??

is there anything I can do?

£50k in the bank? Presumably that pays interest? Which is income!

as far as i know, its just a current account, so doesnt accrue any interest, however, i did notice that he was withdrawing sums of 250 pounds 3/4 times a week, so presume there is another account somewhere. but would the CSA look at any of this?
