When does the judge decide the father pays the mother of his child maintenance for looking after his baby. Already got csa on the case for child support but just wondering if I would be entitled to anything as it is a short marriage (6months). Please help

There has to be good reason for spousal maintenance and there is usually a long marriage and a large difference in earnings capacity. The court has a duty to achieve a Clean Break if at all possible and maintenance orders are accepted to be a last resort.

Is there any reason that you cannot obtain your own income, supplemented by benefits and/or tax credits or otherwise?

Yes I can maintain myself but at the moment I can''t because I''m a new mum of a three month old baby. Would I get anything because of the child as he is not providing a roof over her head?
