My stbxh has his eldest daughter overnight for more than 52 nights a year yet he pays full maintenance for her.
If he told CSA about her overnight contact and they reduced his first wife''s CSA payments would that extra money come to me for our child?
If it does, in there anyway i could raise this issue with the CSA? I know he pays his first wife direct, and that if he were to get any reduction that could potentially pass onto me for our child he would not willingly give it to me off his own back.
the two are not linked.
Whatever he pays first wife has no bearing on the child he has with you, only difference is a reduction in the fact the other child/ren are his already to his first wife.
To be honest the differences are so small unless he is a very large earner, its not worth arguing about. These shortfalls are more than made up in what he might spend on the children.
When someone starts to chase sums like this it starts something quite big and then trust me the kids lose out as animosity builds.
