Court Order states that Monthly child maintenance must be accompanied by a current pay slip. This month my ex has not included his pay slip so I have no way of ensuring he has paid the correct maintenance. Over the course of the summer holiday he has threatened me that he will deduct the cost of the children''s activities (packed lunches) in particular from his monthly maintenance. I self represent. Do I send a letter to his solicitor? I have already had to return the matter to court once over non/late payment. Unbelievable.
Blimey our ex''s do sound alike, mine doesn''t seem to be able to follow the basic instructions in the Court Order either when it comes to the amount, date payable or the right bank account.
Yes write to his solicitor stating that the payslip for such and such month was not included as per the Court Order and request that it is forwarded to you asap. Does he get irregular bonuses?
If its a one off it may not be worth going back to court over but if it keeps occurring keep a record of all the missing months and apply for Directions.
