On Friday my partner had his last court hearing for contact to his son.

This wasnt supposed to be the final hearing but ex''s solicitor seemed to convince her to agree on contact rather let it go to a final hearing which was good for my partner as he is representing himself.

He has finally got his son every other weekend from fri to sun and a week in the school holidays and has been given christmas contact including having him for Christmas day.

His ex still put up a fight about the odd day here and there but thankfully an outcome was reached that my partner is happy with.

Not sure whther this will be forever and we are in no doubt that we will end up back in court at some point as his ex is very difficult but for now the nightmare is over and i would just like to thank everyone for their help, support and advice over the past year.

My advice to anyone going through this is stick with it as hard as it may be and stand your ground, you will get there in the end.

Vicky

That''s great news, Vicky!

Hopefully you will stick around here to help and advise others going through something similar.

I presume you sent your C100 to the Court? You will hear back within a few days, possibly a couple of weeks depending on how busy they are, and will receive copies of your application to serve on your ex, as well as a listing date. To serve your ex with the papers the recommendation is to send them first class, but we always served via recorded delivery because then you can track the papers and your ex will have to sign for them. Then there''s no way she can say she didn''t receive them!

Hello
When we sent our c100 we recieved a Directions hearing date within a week.
His ex was also written to and my partner didn''t have to serve her with any papers or the c100.
you should hear soon with your court date.
Are you self representing or do you have a solicitor?
