Hi, advice needed, my sister and her husband are getting a divorce and they have 6 children between them, she did not want one of the boys but a residence order was made for the other 5 to stay with her and one to go with him, trouble is the oldest girl who is 12 doesn''t want to live with her mother and doesn''t no what to do, she wasn''t asked where or with whom she wanted to live. I am unable to see her as my sister has stopped all contact between me and our parents so i can only text her, which i do. They have a family support worker due to the problems within the family would she be of any help as im scared my niece could run off if this is not resolved.

The family support worker is probably the person most likely to be of help. If you could talk to her that would be good but maybe your niece could also approach her if she feels confident to.

best wishes,
Sadie
