Hi & welcome to Wiki!

The Government defines domestic violence as

"Any incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional) between adults who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality."

You are worried about your daughter - do you think she is not safe - or you just want to see her?

I would advise speaking to a Solicitor.

You can apply to court for contact and seek and find orders. A seek and find order is for the court to locate where the children are so that court papers can be served, but the address won''t necessarily be divulged to you.

When there are allegations of DV the court can treat the case as if the allegations *may* be true until further investigations are carried out so any contact is in a contact centre and/or supervised in the meantime.
