I guess you all know about my issues regarding my ex moving the children to France and at the same time refusing me and my parents contact with them.

In a new twist, I called the school yesterday to talk about my concerns and to find out if my children are still attending there. They refused to talk to me!!! They told me to talk to my wife''s solicitor (I didn''t even know she had one) and said bye.

I called my solicitor that was outraged (since I have shared PR) and said she will write to them Monday.

She cannot think of ANY reason as to what happened and the school refuses to talk to me but I am asking if anyone has any ideas?

I talk to them freequently and they have always been helpful and chatty. What could have happened in the meantime?

I would think you ex has said that you cant have contact and so are taking her side. Which they cant but often happens.

It will soon be sorted if your solicitor contact them as they have a duty to inform both parents. If that doesnt work go straight to the board of governors.

Thank you.

Yes, my solicitor will write to them a letter (She was VERY happy to do so...) on Monday and I am also going to do the same.

In the past I visited there and even gave them envelopes and stamps so that I would receive reports etc concerning their education. I haven''t received anything, yet and it has been months.

So, whatever the mother says HAS to be followed? I despair...

No the school wont just follow what mums says, but if she was clever enough to get a solicitor to write to the school then the school will be reluctant not to follow as they could be sued.

Heads are not lawyers so dont alway understand that a solicitors letter isnt the law!

A month ago, I sent the school stamped envelopes asking them to send me ALL information they have sent to my ex.

This was BEFORE Friday and I am STILL waiting!!!

I did my research last night and what they are doing in AGAINST THE LAW!!!

How can they operate a school when they don''t know the basics about parents'' rights and how they SHOULD behave to them??

Are they afraid of the ex''s lawyer and the possibility to be sued?

Wait until I lose my patience and I sue them myself for not giving me information about my CHILDREN!!!!
