Hi - during the indescribable pain of divorce I was stunned at how helpful so many people of Wikivorce were. The divorce is now complete and she''s moved to another house with the kids. As you''d expect she''s making contact with the kids v difficult ie we agree for the kids to be with me during a school holiday, I book annual leave and then at the last minute she refuses. And of course the kids think its me who''s pulled out and I get the blame.

How do I go about making an application for shared care/joint residence please? Are there any good forums along the fathers4justice lines please?

Many thanks

You apply for shared residence using Form C100 which is available to download somewhere on this site or from the Ministry of Justice. There are also guidance leaflets CB1 and CB3 for information about applying and service and a list of court fees Ex50 (or EX150??). As well as the F4J Family Court Handbook and resources at Families Need Fathers you might find "Family Courts Without a Lawyer" by Lucy Reed useful.

Michael Robinson at the Custody Minefield has produced some new guidance. I haven''t had a chance to read it yet, but his advice is usually pretty good, especially for leave to remove cases.
