I am so impressed. I really think that taking on responsibility that you have, at your age will be something that your daughter will always look up to.

Your ex sounds like a tamer version of mine, ofcourse my ex in laws were very controlling and I am certain that they know how to motivate your ex against you.

It seems from what you have said, her mother is the main aggressor and her father probably was telling her mother off in order to get her to lay off the solicitor.

More so for you than anyone else, contact and a substantial level of it is very important as you can be certain her mother in law will try to poison, alienate etc.

Take things step by step - follow the procedures, there are lots of good books out there - and most importantly give yourself a big pat on the back! Well done
