My ex and I have agreed to split all holidays 50/50. But he keeps appearing at all football training sessions for my son in my half, with father in law in tow! I am feeling intimated as he virtually sits on my picnic blanket. I have stayed quiet but am feeling very harassed I have not once invaded on his time with children. This is so unfair on the children to, we were having a lovely time until they appeared which then puts all defences up ! The children felt so awkward (so unfair to them) why does he do this????

Is it just for training? or matches.... I could maybe understand matches and competitions but just for training does seem excessive.

Probably he just wants to watch his son play football. Some people take football really seriously - possibly he feels that it is a cornerstone of his relationship with his son? However, you do need clear boundaries. How big is this problem for you?

Just training and only turns up 20 minutes before end! He doesn''t even watch my son I am convinced it is all done just to try and wind me up. I would do the same to him but think the children find I hard enough already!!!!

Really? Don''t you think he could come up with a better way to wind you up?

Have you tried asking him why he comes?

Maisy.

Do you usually go to the training sessions or was this special sessions over the holidays?

Is this training the same activity that occurs on the disputed contact day?
