hi im new to this i was wondering if anyone could help. i split from my husband in march and my children were at there grandparents, i thought i was doing what was best and letting them stay there untill i got myself sorted,i was seeing them on daily basis, subsequently they have applied for residence order and in process of that,i have now been told i can only see kids for 6 hrs a week, i thought they were doing the best for the kids, but statements have been made and they neither want my children to be returned to me which is obviously heartbreaking. i have now resolved issues with my husband and i have moved back in to family home , really wanting advice on if they get residence order how can we get our children back as soon as possible thanks much appreciated if anyone can help

See a solicitor. Something tells me there is more to this story.

I agree with khan that there does seem to be more to the story and its completely up to you as to what you disclose but i think without more info there is little advise you can be given.

Are they maternal or paternal grandparents? Why wont they return them? Why were they left with grandparents? Where was your husband during the split?

they are his parents, they stopped him from going to the house as he thought they were taking my side. and arguments ensued. i feel my children are getting distant from me and they are relishing in the fact that they have been getting everything they want, 6 hrs a week is hard as i just want them back with me and my husband

If you and your husband have worked through your issues and got back together why wont they return the children? Who imposed the 6 hours a week contact?
