Please note that Wikivorce is mentioned in Para 178 in the Private Law section

178. We note that the Co-operative Parenting Consultation response from Wikivorce pointed out that the majority of their respondents misunderstood the consultation to be about 50/50 equally shared parenting. This is why we pressed the Ministers to explain what the Government intends the effect of the draft clause should be on Court orders: if they do not think that they will change, and in particular, if they do not intend such a change, then they should say so. Equally, if the intention is for the clause to merely codifying existing practice in the Courts, it is important for the Government to make that clear.

hi i am new to the forum, sadly going through a divorce after 25 yrs ex to be had affair and is now living with her bf and my son , my son has a learning difficulity and is 19 yrs , i have spent alot of time and cash on trying to gain proper access to my son , arrangements at moment are every other weekend i have my son from 4pm friday till monday am i must stree this arrangement through medition has been stopped for no reason at all so i have to bite my lip and take what i get, ive tried asking ex to be if i can take my son on holiday refusal again , my son is becoming increasly stressed with the whole stuff going on , may i add i was not allowed to see my son for 47 days from the day i caught her with her bf and then i was only allowed to see my son in mcdonalds with ex in attendance crazy i know, plus all last year i never saw him for 81 days , there has never been any volience at all , she drank and became violent towards me which i shrugged off , i have asked sons doctor to sign a form C.O.P which basically says he cannot basically understand whats going on deemed incapable , gp refused , I would dearly love my son to live with me for 2 to 3 days each week shared residence ,but at moment struggling to find away around the refusal of the form being not signed by gp, can anyone think of a way around this ???
