Hi

I think the same as you - I just want to be able to pick them up from school and have time then take them back to school and I have suggested Thur to Fri one week and Thur to Mon the next to share weekends. 5 nights out of 14. This would cover off the football and we can both still go to watch the matches our son plays in.

She won''t be flexible so I agree that we need fixed contact.

Many thanks from Mark

When you go to court state the times as well.

Are you suggesting you will have children Thurs and Friday night? So returning children sat morning? Have a reason why this would be good for the children.

Remember to think about excatly what you want to happen when children not at school. Do you the same pattern to continue or will it be suspended and replaced with whole week?

Hi there

I was suggesting:
Week 1 - Thur - pick up from school and drop back to school on Fri.
Week 2 - Thur -pick up from school and drop back to school on Mon.

No handovers, week day time for both parents and weekend time for both parents.

We all already have to share all holidays equally and that works ok.

I was going to ask for a couple of extra things to be added in, such as an extra night for birthdays, including mine, fathers day and a couple of key football dates ;).

Unfortunately mum has just cancelled our 2nd mediation appointment and has actually said she''s decided that she wants to stick to the current court order. I''ve abviously applied to court as I don''t believe it works for the children and has caused them signnificant upset over the last few months.

She said she will just tell the Judge she does not want to be back at court every month and I am being awkward. She also said she will make further allegations about me if I don''t just ''call it a day'', but she will deny that and get away with it no doubt.

I am just waiting for my solicitor and the school support worker to call me back t decide what to do.

God help anybody else going through this.

Thanks Mark x.

Hi All

Back in court this afternoon.

Unfortunately the aourt application for Shared Residence and to set up better Contact has been over-shadowed again by Social Services involvement and welfare concerns - ''the mess'' as my children refer to it.

Wish me luck that I can get some decent contact without having to force my kids to have drop offs at their mums at bed time.

Good luck to all going through this.

Mark x

Hope the hearing goes well Mark, remember - relate everything back to why it will benefit the kids, and try and stay calm and focused - your kids love you and they need you to be strong for them

Fingers crossed

xx
