I have already been through a child access court case with my ex after she stopped me from seeing my children for no reason after our separation. This lasted 6 months and ended up with me getting my children 2 days a week and every other weekend. This has been in place for over a year now but I wondered if I could apply for more time with them ?

You can apply if you want, there's nothing stopping you, although you probably wouldn't get any more as I'm guessing you are the dad? It will probably cost a fortune to go back through the court process and doubt you'd get anywhere with it. In an ideal world if the father wanted shared 50/50 access it would be granted as long as there isn't any safe guarding issues. Have you got he school holidays also shared? And birthdays and Christmas?
