child name change was created by toohonest
hiya,

A friend of mine got to see his 4 year old son today for the first time for this year. the child told him that his middle and surname as been changed to the mom new baby dads name and that he the biological dad cant pick him from school even if he was allowed to.

my friend has full parental responsibility but weren't allowed to see child or make any decisions about his up bringing. wouldn't they need a consent from him before having the child's name changed and also i would like to know if their is anyway he could find out if she has changed the childs name for real. he had asked her but she denies it and says that he is still known at his school and gp by the same name.

he is very troubled now because his surname on the childs birth certificate was the only thing he has to say that he is the dad and it was very surprising to me that they suddenly decided for him to see the child and then get a slap in the face with the name change by his son.

please help me to help him because he will be looking to me for answers and i just dont know what to say to him because i know how much he loves and care for his son.:(

thank you
