My ex husband is being deployed for 3 months and he has the children who live with him. I have stated that the children should live with me and I live 3 hours away. Does anyone know what the law states about joint parental responsibilty and can he give them to someone else to look after. We share custody. He is being a "dick" and using this to punish me for leaving. I have since remarried and I am happy. HELP

Presumably he is being deployed to a conflict zone?

As you live 3 hours away, how would you manage schooling and the regular activities for the children?

Does he have a Residency Order?
