Hi,

Situation:

My wife and I have separated amicably and she has moved out after 2 1/2 years of marriage. I am now living in the family home with my son and step daughter.

I own the home and she is not named on the deeds or mortgage. (She has bad credit so wasn't included in the mortgage process)

I want to make sure I am 100% safe in owning the property as I have no intention of moving out and selling up. She said she has no interest in anything to do with the house.

Obviously I want this in writing so there is no come back later down the line .

Question:

Can I apply for a 'Clean Break order' without yet going through the divorce process as money is tight at the moment and I can't afford a divorce just yet.

Thanks for reading.
