Hi there,

I am a mum of two, going through a very messy separation. We have been together for 11 years and bought our home together in 2014. After various affairs and abuse I have had enough and we are separating.

When we bought the house we drew up a declaration of trust saying he would get 100% as he put in the deposit and me no deposit, although we are both on the mortgage. I sought separate legal counsel and decided against it so the declaration is drawn up but neither of us signed it. Is this still valid? What rights do I have?

Thank you
