Im going through a horrible divorce with an emotionally abusive and aggressive man. I fled the family home with Dd in feb and currently still paying for the bills in it.

He pays the mortgage of £350 and I get all the bills, roughly the same figure. I need to start saving for solicitor as it’s going to end up in court.

Can I stop paying the bills as I don’t live there and he won’t move out?
Should I just continue paying half the mortgage as we have both our names on it?
