There's a slight possibility my husband will move out as we start the divorce. My name on mortgage..hes named on land registry.
I only work p/t and s/employed been off for 3 months after an operation.
Can I ask him still to help towards bills etc.
He runs our 'family business'...when he can be bothered. He can earn in a night what I can in a month.

You can ask.

You may even be able to get it ordered by a court if he has the means to pay.

Are you still looking at selling the house and renting?

Thank you for you reply...he could earn decent money if he bothered, but hes a terrible history with money and is a functioning alcoholic.
It seems we can't make tomorrows mortgage payment (as already been to court now it will be repossession route)...so not quite sure what happens now...?
