Had a phone call from my solicitor about an hour ago. Contact should have begun at 6.00 pm.

My ex has sent an email to my solicitor which says that my son showed signs of possible abuse under my care. She is therefore suspending contact. She says she has an appointment with Social Services on Monday and will take advice from them.

Anyone have any experience dealing with social services and what I might expect?

Guess all her other attempts at getting her own way didn''t work and so she is now playing dirty.

Think ss will investigate the allegation.

SS are duty-bound to investigate any allegations that they receive.

I''m afraid my own experiences of SS involvement is very limited (also about false allegations), so I can''t be of much help, but did want to send you a virtual hug (if that isn''t too "fluffy) and say that I hope things get resolved very soon for you.

Funnily enough, my barrister at the last hearing was saying how now all the allegations are out of the way we can move on to the final hearing. She said ''she''s pretty much run out of things to throw at you.''

I replied ''I''ve not had any allegations of child abuse yet, I expect they''ll come in time''

What a surprise!

Thanks guys, it''s extremely frustrating because I have to wait until office hours tomorrow to phone social services to find out what''s been alleged. The ex''s email just said abuse, with no indication what she might have made up.

The point is U6c00 the ex will be found out to be lying and yet again will have shot herself in the foot!

Keep going. Make sure you are doing everything the judge and ss request of you. They will hopefully see through this latest attempt to stop contact.

Hi u6

I''m sorry to hear that more sh*t is being thrown around. I really don''t understand why people think they can play these dirty tricks?

I wish there was something positive I could add but I can''t do anything other than to say all the best buddy!

I am sorry to hear this.

The SS will contact you to hear your side of the story and will want to make any clarifications.

Is Cafcass involved?
Usually they get involved too after SS.

Make sure that you keep her emails and all correspondance as you may want to submit.

Take Care.
