can a ex partner sell your house that you shared together over your head even if we have a child together and the house is in both our names?

No, not if the property is in both names. It would require the signatures of both parties.

If you are married you have additional rights, though, so could stop this even if the property was only in your ex-partner''sname.

Best wishes,
Sadie
