I have been separated for 5 years and i have always done the pick up and drop off of the children
I have them every other weekend picking them up on a friday after work and dropping them back to mum on a sunday evening at 6.00pm
I live 80 miles away from my children in wiltshire i was picking them up in newport which is 30 minutes from the mums house
She had a new baby with her partner at christmas and subsequently refused to bring the children to newport as the baby is too small to be out in traffic
I feel that the journeys should be split 50-50

Is there any court order in place saying who picks up/drops off etc?

How long before she feels baby can travel?

An hour drive hardly seems excessive. Does the baby travel for this sort of length of time to other destinations?

Why can''t her partner look after baby?

Her partner has a property in Llanelli so yes the baby does travel this distance her partner does not get home until 6.00pm
Newport is a nightmare on a friday night but i am travelling from Swindon area and also paying the bridge toll twice a weekend

We had 3 children together and we therefore had to get on with it
