I wonder if any Wiki`s can help by explaining the process of the dissolution of a civil partnership in England and how financial issues are settled.

Many thanks in advance.

Erm, the dissolution of civil partnerships follows the same procedure as divorce, including the financial aspects.

The only main difference is that you can not Petition for a dissolution on the grounds of adultery.

Dukey - and anyone else who is interested

There is now lots of information on Civil partnership Dissolution in the library :)

These two links are general information -

www.wikivorce.com/divorce/FAQs/Getting-a...hip-Dissolution.html

www.wikivorce.com/divorce/FAQs/Getting-a...on-What-Do-I-DO.html

There is also information on completing the downloadable D508 (petition), children, conditional orders, etc.

It's worth noting that the Ancillary Relief proceedings are exactly the same although these are called declaratory proceedings.

Hi Dukey,

Are you looking for information regarding a dissolution or actually a solicitor to help.

I used a solicitor in Kent to dissolve my Civil Partnership on grounds of Adultery. Luckily they also helped to sort out financial provisions. It was a long proces sbut so glad it's all over now!
