I don''t know if this is the right place to post. I want to remove myself as Company Secretary from my husband''s company as I don''t want anything to do with all the financial dishonesty that I have unearthed. I''ve drafted a letter to him but could do with a legal opinion that there is nothing in the letter that could be seen as lible.

i have taken professional advice about the course of action so that it not a problem.

Many thanks

If there''s anyone who could pass an opinion that I could send the draft letter via PM, that would be great.

Action - I can appreciate you want to write to officially to the business to let the ex know you reasons. I can''t comment on any letter, but will say you need to fill in the following form and send it to Companies House:

www.companieshouse.gov.uk/forms/generalF...ent_of_secretary.pdf

Please don''t rely on your ex doing the official paperwork - chances are he won''t. I learnt from experience with that one!

Thanks for the advice mumtoboys. I checked out the forms yesterday and I agree, he''s unlikely to do it himself!

I know the letter doesn''t make a lof of difference to anything but his actions in relation to his business (as well as the divorce) are so lacking in honesty and integrity, I don''t want anything to do with it. I know that sending the letter will make me feel a little better even though it isn''t really necessary.
