What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi all,
Just a quick question!
About a year ago I was awarded costs by the court and have a court order for my ex to pay. After many letters to her and her solicitor asking for payment I am still waiting. Can anyone advise me on the best course of action to take. I have got to the point where I am more than happy to take her back to court! Which forms do I need to complete as I am self repping.
Many thanks
Jetsom

If you ring citizens advice they should be able to explain the enforcement via the courts. A bailiff or high court enforcement officer might also help but you would have additional costs.

If you employed someone to recover costs those should also be recoverable from her. Once you get advice I would explain this to her and try to avoid extra hurt and emotional pain that this would cause.
