What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

High it''s scheduled for next week and my ex form E isn''t ready but he''s basically turning up without doing a sworn statement or anything
He wasn''t even turning up at one point!
What happens if he gives no information to his means
But mine shows a negative balance in just my outgoings alone?

It is important to submit your information. If the court has directed each of you to submit documentation, the judge is likely to tear a strip off your husband.

I have my form E complete and ready
If i have filed my form E with the courts and my ex
Do I still need to do a sworn statement or is my form E enough information for the court to go ahead with maintenance pending suit hearing?
Can an order for maintenance be maid if my ex hasn''t filed any paperwork proving his means,
Thanks for the reply
