What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Well I have finally received this piece of fiction, what''s happened to his salary of 52k when he started his job in January, he had it for 3 months and now disappeared, apparently he earns £660 per month now with potential dividends of £20k, his accountant (friend) is worth his fee if he gets away with it, how do I prove it? Is there any point in going to court if he is not declaring everything ? He hasn''t supplied any bank account statements for his company only profit and loss? should I be confident in the court process ? He is represented, I can''t afford it. His current acc has transfers of thousands from his parents accounts (they had no insight into their finances, can he do this ? Thousands in directors loans and transfers, where is all this money coming from - he has withdrawn £9k in cash, and apparently needs £4.5k per month to live! He spends loads on eating out, clothes and I struggle to keep my house warm. How can someone do this, he doesn''t want me to have a bean, Why? What have I done - supported him and his parents for years, I am so pi**ed off, he is a disgrace - going on holiday after his mom died and leaving his poor dad to cope and going to the same resort we always went to, what''s that about? I feel like doing a Reginald Perrin - sorry for rant, thank you, hope I get my confidence back soon, really flagging. Any advise would be great x
