What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi my ex was meant to give me a copy of his form E In time for our first appointment,
the deadline has passed I''ve exchanged mine but still he''s failed to produce his though he has filed with the court. What now?
What will happen at the first appointment of he still refuses to give me a copy of his form e?
How do I file my relevant paperwork ie statement of issues and questionnaire in time for out first appointment if he refuses to comply with giving me his form e?
We are both lip but he sees a solicitor for advise occasionally.

I''m
Not sure if they are allowed to do that? and to be fair I don''t fancy wasting my time chasing up his form e and paying courts astronomical photocopying fees because he''s failing to comply
I have asked his solicitor and he refused to disclose finances
We then proceeded to mediation which he then cancelled because he refused to disclose his finances again
I''ve now proceeding to court so i can finally get his financial information and he''s still not complying with the court direction
Surely the courts don''t expect me to chase him for the information?
