What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Did the barrister lie or was s/he acting on instructions? I suspect the latter.

In relation to allegations - these are merely allegations. You could say that the allegations are defamatory but if nobody was there to hear them there is no loss suffered.

The FDR is a without prejudice hearing which means that the contents of the hearing cannot be discussed in any other hearing.

In answer to your question, if a transcript of the hearing exists, you are unlikely to be able to obtain a copy unless you wish to appeal the outcome of the hearing which will be standard Directions in relation to disclosure and listing the matter for further hearing.

barrister openly lied...she said we have no idea who x is and is made up by me (the name of a partner) however the partner was actually named by my ex as her partner of over 5 years, mentioned on her form E, response to questionnaire etc...therefore barrister just lying
i got accused of making fake documents which prove my ex was lying...these doucments are now with the proscecution service who have independently verified the falseness of all documents independently...if i can prove my ex also perverted course of justice/lying in court i can add that...but i need transcipts to do so

If your case moves to a FH, you will have the opportunity to rebutt all the accusations against you. In the meantime, try not to lose too much sleep...sadly, there will be lots of this going on.

re the transcript, write to the court and they will send you the request form and a list of approved transcriber companies. It wont be cheap.
