What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

My ex''s solicitor has been aggressive and leading to say the least so I do not trust her one little bit.
She had agreed to send my ex''s form E to arrive with me on the 22nd March and it did not arrive, I have held mine back as I knew her solicitor would not send by the day specified.
Are all solicitors liars ??
I do not want to send mine first and it now appears we have a stalemate.
Should I post my copy for the courts but hold her copy back ?
I know they will change figures when they get mine.
Thanks

Just send it, what difference does it make if they change the figures? If you really want to simultaneously exchange, just ask the solicitor when you can turn up in person and swap the documents?
