What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi focus, sounds like you have been stitched up as I almost was.
Your ex only has to prove probability and does not have to offer any hard proof or evidence at all, how this can be deemed as lawful I just don''t know.

I took a barrister with me and accepted "undertakings" which is a bit like saying you will never do in the future what you didn''t do in the past.
It will not get you into your house but, at least it will protect you in the future by making her produce real evidence if she accuses you of doing anything else.

The whole non molestation rule is a farce and should be dropped as it goes against everything the British judicial system claims to be.
In one word it is a "joke".
Good luck in court....
