I applied for my divorce in July 2019.
My husband formally agreed to the grounds and was then sent paperwork by Harlow Court August 2019.
That had sent him a faulty code apparently to enter on their online system.
He called them, they said the letter was sent by mistake??
I contacted my solicitors ( the coop) which informed me Harlow doesn’t really with divorce online and would send physical paperwork out to my husband.
Couple months go by, I call them, they then say, if the paperwork hasn’t been sent out it’s because of the “backlog” we could get them to resend it so he can respond online....(I thought they couldn’t do that?)
I say ok, yes please. Whatever speeds this up, but yeah, we’re into January 2020 and nothing has been sent out. And all the excuse ever is is the “backlogs”
Coop have generously offered me the details so that I can deal with the court directly if I wish.
Has anyone got any advice, or any similar experience or info about backlogs at Harlow Court Essex?
Thanks in advance
