Can we pay the court fee by using credit / debit cards? if yes, as my wife will be the Petitioner can she use my credit card to pay for the fee? if not, what are the methods to pay it?

Info about paying here:
www.gov.uk/court-fees-what-they-are

you need to scroll down - you can pay by debit, credit or cheque.

I think the Petitioner needs to be the person named on the card.

The general strategy for paying by card is you send the form in with a cover letter saying "please call me on XYZ mobile to take card payment". It''s quite a good strategy for dealing with incompetent or overworked court admin staff as you know until they''ve taken the payment the application has definitely gone nowhere!!
