What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi there friends,
I went to submit my Form A, needed some help at the court, and asked if I can speak to some one,
My question was - there is no place for my residential address, on the Form A,
But the Lady too did not know,
Now how is it possible to get a reply from the court-- if the application form has no Address of the applicant,, or petitioner?
I need some help- or did I just loose the Court fees, Altogether?

Page 3 of form A is for service details.

If you are a LIP enter your address under solicitor's details and there is also a section for respondent's address of service.

How will the form be returned if they don't have your address?

I guess they could find it using the case number. It might be worth sending the court an email or making a phone call, to make sure they have the address to return the form to.
