Perjury who do you report it to was created by mckene02
I was involved in a recent FDR where the ex and one of their family members both gave sworn affidavit which they lied to gain a share in a property. I have evidence which I reported to my solicitor who has done nothing.

Who can I report this to as it has affected the outcome of my case with this perjury.

If the law does not prosecute these people then why does the Form E say you can be prosecuted especially to gain ill forgotten gains.

What evidence did you have, was it admissible in court? It is up to the authorities to prosecute for perjury and it''s highly unlikely they will. It''s said that everyone lies in family cases. This might be an exaggeration but the emotions are such that the spouses often have difficulty distinguishing facts and evidence. Lying in certain circumstances may be found to be litigation misconduct and then the penalty is an order to pay the other sides costs.

There is a co ownership property, the ex is on the deeds with a family member who alleges she lived at the property for 4 years and that it she who paid the deposit. I have records to prove she did not live their at the time of purchase and the address she lived at with her partner. Also the ex paid off the mortgage with a redundancy package at the time of him living the FMH . Also she alleges she paid towards the final mortgage which i have evidence this was not the case both swore on a signed Affidavit. This has affected my settlement.

Sadly this appears to be a common problem!

My ex also lied on his form E, he also purchased a house with the OW 7 months before the final hearing but when this was brought up in court he denied it and the judge made a belittling joke about it aimed at me.

It affected my settlement and he has now stopped SM which may result in me loosing my home.

I have little faith in the system but good luck:(

It is a joke so why does the form say you can be prosecuted if it affected your settlement like it has mine. I am sending the information to the CPS and the courts directly as even my barrister was aware and this was not bought up in court.

Like you this lie could cause me to lose my childrens home.

Christ Almighty I have kids and tell them not to lie and there grown adults are lying and cheating as the consequences are nothing will happen to them. Shame I told the truth but I was bought up to fear the consequences.

I cant give up and will have to ask the relevant authorities why they do no prosecute you get done quick enough for traffic offences and stealing money from my kids is well out of order.
