What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

My wife wanted divorce on unreasonable behaviour
I accepted this and was hopping all was going fine until I got letter yesterday from the courts.
Decree Nisi was not excepted by the courts does this mean we have to wait for divorce or do we get to appeal against this as it’s what we both want.
What can we do now to get this divorce quick?

I guess her reason werent strong enough for the court to grant the divorce.

Not sure what the next step would be.

She will have to amend it and pay £90 or wait two years with your consent.
