Who does money \"belong\" to? was created by Thomasjames
can anyone help answer this question

If H & W have savings (fictional £100k)

at what point (date) in financial settlement proceedings are the finances reviewed and divided?

i.e ..........H & W marry in 1995
have both joint and separate accounts

but monies bounce about between all accounts, so when do court put stake in ground and decide who owns what funds?

See answer to your other post.

Everything is mingled so it is all counted as joint. After a long marriage, the start point for division of assets would be 50:50. How it ends up depends on a range of factors - ages, incomes, children etc.
