Intervenors in ancillary relief proceedings was created by carys1972@aol.com
I having an ongoing divorce and ancillary relief proceedings. I met my husband in 2000 and the same year my husbands parents assisted him by providing 60k as a deposit on the matrimonial home and 30k on a flat we had as a rental property for which my husband has always received the rent from. Both proerties are in my husband's sole name and there are no agreements or legal measures to evidence that the money supplied by his parent was a lona and not a gift. Thye parents also assisted his 2 siblings in exactly the same way some 10 to 15 years ago and they have always used the whole proporty solely for them. The parents only made the claim money given b y them, was not a gift after seperation. They are also claiming all the erquity from both propertys. I worked before having a baby and still do and reside in the matrimonial property with nobody else and it had been our family home since 2003 and my husbands always paid the mortgage not his parents. Does anyone have an idea about what the court will rule? I am sole custodial parent on low income

Hi, The fact you were working, will be taken into account, you have a child, that
will be taken into account by the court, and the fact you are on low income, all
go in your favour, , about your inlaws, that may or may not go in court, but
your husband will get some share,
